Andrew Halphen is a criminal lawyer who has been practising for more than 17 years. A partner at Stary Norton Halphen, he holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Hons) from Monash University and is a Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law.

Throughout his career in criminal law, Andrew has worked on many high-profile cases. He is particularly experienced in sex cases, both contact and non-contact offending, and has also worked on many IBAC and family violence cases.

In recognition of his contribution to the legal profession, Andrew has received the Service Award from the Law Institute of Victoria, and has been recognised by the Doyle's Guide since 2016. In addition to his legal work, Andrew has also been a volunteer and director of Springvale Monash Legal Service and a former member and co-chair of LIV criminal law section.

Andrew has a passion for helping people make good of themselves when they've made a mistake or assisting them when most others are likely to turn their back on them. He is a dedicated criminal lawyer who is committed to helping his clients navigate the complex legal system and achieve the best outcome for their case. Outside of law, Andrew enjoys walking, particularly near water, stretching, and eating.
