Jim completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in philosophy, at the University of Melbourne and Monash University in 2013.

Jim returned to university as a mature age student having worked in mining and construction. Prior to joining Stary Norton Halphen, Jim worked as a research assistant to Dr Kristen Rundle and Professor Julian Webb at the Melbourne Law School. While completing his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, he taught young men in custody at the Youth Justice Centre in Malmsbury, Victoria.

Jim’s Reflections:
