Renata graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Juris Doctor in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Following her studies, Renata volunteered at Refugee Legal, where she assisted clients seeking asylum. She also volunteered at Fitzroy Legal Service in both the daytime criminal practice and the night service legal clinic, where she worked with clients experiencing a wide range of legal problems.
Prior to commencing at Stary Norton Halphen, Renata was a Judge's Associate at the County Court of Victoria, and worked with both His Honour Judge Taft and His Honour Judge Cahill.
Renata understands that navigating the criminal justice system can be a difficult and stressful experience for many people. She strives to make her clients feel supported through the process, and to help them fight for a fair and just resolution of their criminal matters.
