Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in criminology and media communications) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University. She has also completed an exchange program at Essex University (UK) in a Masters of International Human Rights Law.
While completing her studies Stephanie volunteered at PLEA (Prison Legal Education and Assistance) and Reprieve Australia (an organisation advocating against the death penalty). More recently she has volunteered her time at the Fitzroy Legal Service as part of the free legal advice service.
Before commencing at Stary Norton Halphen, Stephanie worked in administration roles in criminal defence and since her admission to practice in December 2017 she has worked as a solicitor on criminal and family matters.
