Alexandra is an accomplished criminal lawyer who has successfully defended numerous clients charged with serious criminal offences. Recognised as a Rising Star in Criminal Law in 2025 by the industry ranking Doyle’s Guide, Alexandra is known for her compassion, commitment and dedication to her clients.  

Alexandra attended the University of Melbourne where she obtained undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) and postgraduate Juris Doctor (JD) degrees. Alexandra also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

As an Associate at Stary Norton Halphen, Alexandra is an talented solicitor-advocate who appears regularly in the Children’s Court, Magistrate’s Court and County Court of Victoria in legal proceedings involving Contested Hearings, Pleas, Appeals, Bail Applications, Contested Committals and Intervention Order Proceedings. She has also instructed in a number of Criminal Trials and Supervision Order Review proceedings in the County and Supreme Court of Victoria. Her practice encompasses a wide range of Commonwealth and State criminal offences including driving matters, drug possession and trafficking, dishonesty and theft, home invasions, sexual offences, family violence and serious assaults.

Before being admitted and joining Stary Norton Halphen, Alexandra served as a paralegal within Peta Murphy Chambers (formerly David Ross Chambers) assisting senior and junior counsel to prepare for trials.
