Gemma Morison

BIntlSt, LLB, GDLP

Gemma commenced working at Stary Norton Halphen in 2022 in a support role whilst finalising her studies. Gemma now holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of International Studies majoring in International Relations from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

During her studies, Gemma developed a passion for criminal law and completed an international internship with LBH Yogyakarta in Indonesia, aiding their Community Legal Centre in Human Rights Law.

Prior to joining Stary Norton Halphen, Gemma worked as a paralegal, assisting in family and property law matters and worked as a researcher for criminal law barristers.

Gemma’s Reflections:

  • It is important that all people within our community are provided with fair and equitable access to the justice system. Upon having significant involvement with disabled youth, Gemma’s passion stems from an aspiration to aid those that are vulnerable within our community and would otherwise struggle to find their voice.
