Ran graduated from Monash University with a Juris Doctor in 2018. Her previous career as a journalist for a prominent news agency sparked an interest in Human Rights Law and ultimately led her to pursue a career as a lawyer.
During her studies, Ran volunteered at Fitzroy and Monash Oakleigh Legal Services, where she worked with disadvantaged, culturally and linguistically diverse clients assisting in areas of criminal, family and administrative law.
Prior to commencing at Stary Norton Halphen, Ran worked as an Associate to his Honour Judge A. Kelly at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and then as a criminal defence lawyer at Victoria Legal Aid.
Ran regularly advises and appears in summary and indictable matters. Her diverse experience, commitment to excellence and compassion for her clients ensures comfort and confidence when navigating the criminal justice system, to achieve the best possible legal outcomes.
