Liam Glascott, a former basketball coach with a distinguished career, is facing serious charges, including two counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault, stemming from an alleged incident in Keilor East last July. During a recent court appearance, a magistrate criticised Victoria Police for delays in providing necessary documents for Glascott's defence and ordered them to pay costs. His lawyer, Andrew Halphen, acknowledged the prosecution's request for a six-week adjournment, stating, "We have no quibble with the six-week adjournment." Glascott has been remanded on bail and is scheduled for a further committal mention in May.
