Liam Glascott, a former basketball coach with a distinguished career, is facing serious charges, including two counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault, stemming from an alleged incident in Keilor East last July. During a recent court appearance, a magistrate criticised Victoria Police for delays in providing necessary documents for Glascott's defence and ordered them to pay costs.
His lawyer, Andrew Halphen, acknowledged the adjournment requested by the prosecution, stating, "We have no quibble with the six-week adjournment." Glascott has been remanded on bail and is scheduled for a further committal mention in May.
