Woman freed on bail over fire that killed two children

A mother left her three young children home alone, and shortly after, a smoke alarm sounded before a fire broke out, tragically resulting in the deaths of her one-year-old and five-year-old daughters. Her lawyer, Sam Norton, argued that she was not aware of the fire when she left and that she wasn't charged with causing it. The magistrate granted her bail to a NSW address with conditions, and she is set to return to court on January 15.
